Pulp prices
Market pulp availability is also impacted by the strike in Finland. The strong demand and continuous logistical problems put upward pressure on prices. Pulp sellers of both grades are seeking for further price increases.
Graphic paper prices
Newsprint and SC paper prices have been stable in February. Negotiations are starting for next quarter deliveries and paper suppliers are hoping for increased prices from beginning of April. LWC prices further increased. LWC volumes are impacted by the ongoing strike in the Nordics. Buyers had to accept CWF and UWF price increases in February and further increases are expected.
Recovered paper
After a quiet month of January, prices started to increase in February backed by low collection volumes, strong domestic demand and rising exports. More price hikes are expected in March.
