evo Foundation Welcomes Phillippa Wardleworth and Steve Smith as New Trustees
evo Foundation provides grants and support to individuals and grassroots organisations, empowering them to make a meaningful difference to their lives. The charity focuses on two core objectives: advancing education through opportunities such as training, mentoring and grants, and helping prevent poverty by providing practical support and resources to those facing financial hardship.
Longstanding trustee Steve Forde will step down from his role at the Foundation at the end of July. We thank him for his dedicated service to the Foundation during his tenure as trustee.
Phillippa Wardleworth, Head of Marketing at VOW Wholesale, brings extensive experience from the business supplies industry. Having built strong relationships throughout her career, Phillippa joins the board with a passion for charitable work, fundraising and community engagement.
Her appointment will support the Foundation’s ambitions to increase fundraising efforts to continue to make a positive impact across the communities it serves.

Steve Smith also joins the Foundation as a trustee, bringing more than 25 years of senior experience within the logistics sector, including 12 years at evo managing operations across the UK and Ireland.
Steve spearheaded the first evo Foundation Fundraiser – the Walk of evo – and has been actively involved in its fundraising activities since its inception.
