2027 Minimum Wage Rates - help our lobbying efforts

The Low Pay Commission (LPC) is gathering evidence to inform National Living Wage and Minimum Wage rates for 2027, and we want to hear from you.

We have an opportunity to submit our views on behalf of the industry.

Currently, the LPC is predicting a NLW of between £13.02 and £13.34 for April 2027, with a central estimate of £13.18. This would be a 3.7% increase on the 2026 NLW.

These are the two most important questions:

1. What has been the impact of the wage rises in the past year on your business? Including things like:

  • maintaining wage differentials
  • hiring, especially young people on the 18-20 rate
  • profit margins and investment decisions

2. What would be the impact of an increase of 3.7% to £13.18 in April 2027?

Please send your views, and any calculations you can provide, to hello@bossfederation.co.uk

Please respond by 23 June.
