10,000 people complete Help To Grow: Management

Government data has revealed that more than 10,000 small business leaders have now completed the Help to Grow: Management Course.

Independent evaluation confirms that 91% of participants reported improved leadership and management skills after completing the course.

It’s managed by the Small Business Charter, funded by the Department of Business & Trade and delivered by business schools. To join the course, you need to be a senior leader, (with direct reports) in a Small or Medium Enterprise based in the UK. The course is 50 hours in total over 12 weeks, with a mix of in-person and online learning, including 10 hours of mentoring with a business mentor. The fee businesses pay to attend is £750; the remaining 90% of costs are Government-funded.

Modules include vision, values, strategy employee engagement and innovation. There’s also recently been an update to increase the content on digital transformation and AI implementation.
