The Spring Dinner is always a special date in the Society calendar, and this year’s gathering carries particular significance as we mark the conclusion of Steve Hilleard’s Presidency and welcome Ian Buckley as the Society’s next President.
Over the past two years, Steve has led the Society with energy, enthusiasm and genuine care for its future. During his tenure the Society has enjoyed a notable period of growth in membership and participation, alongside a welcome broadening of its make-up, including an increase in female members. The evening will give members the opportunity to thank Steve for his commitment and the time he has dedicated to the Society.
Following this, Ian Buckley, Managing Director of Prima Software, will be installed as President. Well known to many members and a longstanding supporter of the Society, Ian has been closely involved in welcoming new members and encouraging engagement across the industry. He takes on the role at a positive moment and intends to build upon the progress achieved in recent years – maintaining the Society’s traditions while ensuring it remains open, welcoming and relevant to the modern office and workspace supplies industry.
Guest of Honour - Rory Bremner
One of the United Kingdom’s best-known comedians and impressionists, Rory Bremner has entertained audiences for more than three decades with his sharp political satire and remarkable character portrayals. From the stage to prime-time television, he combines intelligence, observation and humour in equal measure and promises to be a memorable guest for what is always one of the Society’s most enjoyable evenings.
