The Climb of Life has been undoubtedly one of the ICR’s most key and consistent fundraising events over the last 20 years.
Funds raised each year have contributed to around 15–25% (36% in 2025) of all income from our sports and challenge events, making it our most successful long‑running challenge outside the London Marathon. It is safe to say that its reliability, scale, and community spirit have made it a real cornerstone of The ICR challenge portfolio.
In our recent review of Sports and Challenges, CoL was actively highlighted as a model high‑performing activity. It was discussed that it is the kind of event that not only delivers exceptional fundraising right now, but is most definitely worthy of continued involvement and support from us to ensure its growth and impact can be felt in the years to come.
This year CoL will be organised by Susie Stacey, Andrew Stacey, Jason Stephen and Frances Stephen.
