Philip Beer, Managing Director of Hamelin UK, Aims to Reclaim Marathon Record

Eddie the Exercise Book runs again!

Last year, Shane Owen, his Sales Manager, ran a marathon dressed as Eddie the Exercise Book, taking the record and surpassing Phillip's previous time. Now, Phillip is determined to reclaim his title at the upcoming London Marathon in April.

Following a promising practice run at the Cambridge Half Marathon, where Phillip clocked in at 2 hours and 20 minutes, he is confident in his ability to achieve a sub-5-hour finish and take back the record from Shane.

Driven by the memory of his late colleague, Eddie Sampson, who tragically lost his battle with cancer at 50, Phillip is motivated to honour Eddie's legacy and is committed to continuing Hamelin UK's fundraising efforts for The Institute of Cancer Research.

With the London Marathon on the horizon, Phillip remains focused and determined. He knows that every step he takes brings him closer to reclaiming his word record title.
