National Stationery Week 2026 - Celebrating a Category at the Heart of Our Industry

National Stationery Week 2026 is now underway, and BOSS is pleased to support this much-loved annual campaign that shines a spotlight on one of the most creative and enduring categories within the workplace supplies sector. Stationery has long been a cornerstone of our industry, and this week offers a welcome opportunity to celebrate the products, people and businesses that continue to keep it thriving.

National Stationery Week brings together retailers, suppliers and brands to champion the importance of writing, creativity and the everyday joy that stationery brings. For many BOSS members, stationery sits alongside a wider mix of workplace products and services, and this campaign provides a valuable moment to highlight a category that remains both commercially strong and culturally meaningful.

This year’s campaign is once again coordinated by Sarah Laker, building on the success she has driven over the past few years., a much respected independent retailer, passionate stationery advocate and BOSS member. Sarah’s enthusiasm and commitment have helped National Stationery Week grow into a key moment in the industry calendar.

Sarah Laker says: I'm genuinely thrilled by the incredible line-up of sponsors supporting National Stationery Week this year. Their enthusiasm reflects a shared belief in the power of stationery, the positive role it plays in creativity and wellbeing, and the joy it brings to everyday life. At its heart, this campaign is about inspiring people to pick up a pen, use a notebook and reconnect with stationery in a meaningful way, and it's exciting to see so many brands united behind that goal.

National Stationery Week encourages people of all ages to pick up a pen, write a note, use a notebook and reconnect with the tactile pleasure of stationery. The campaign supports retailers, promotes category awareness and reinforces the importance of writing by hand. For BOSS members, it also offers opportunities to engage customers, highlight product ranges and join a nationwide celebration of stationery.

Throughout the week, activity includes daily themed campaigns, retailer and supplier initiatives, competitions and giveaways, new product showcases and widespread social media engagement using #NatStatWeek, #WritingMatters and #LoveStationery. Members are encouraged to take part, share content and join the conversation.

The London Stationery Show takes place on 12-13 May 2026, running alongside National Stationery Week. The show brings together the full spectrum of the stationery and gift industry and remains an important event for BOSS members, offering opportunities for networking, product discovery and insight into emerging trends.

National Stationery Week 2026 is supported by a strong group of companies, including several long-standing BOSS members such as 3M, eco-eco, Exaclair, Maped Helix, Pentel, Pilot Pen, Snopake, Stabilo, Staedtler and Zebra Pen. Their involvement helps drive visibility for the campaign and highlights the continued importance of stationery across the sector. Alongside these sponsors and supporters, Ryman, WHSmith Travel and TG Jones are also on board with National Stationery Week, adding further momentum to this year’s activity.
