How the BOSS Synergy Team can help you

The BOSS Synergy Team work on behalf of the entire industry with representatives from across the sector. The team develop standards to improve the efficiency of the supply chain by reducing costs and, in turn, maximising sales. These standards include Standard Product Attributes; the Industry Standard Product Classification Code and Standard Abbreviations.  

Unlike simply adopting the standard of a single large industry player, by developing common and open standards created by the membership for the membership BOSS aims to produce product data and technology standards. These meet the needs of the majority of the industry and make it easy for end customers to find and purchase the products they are looking for.

Through the work of the committee BOSS' central aim is to improve sales revenues, reduce the proliferation of data standards and reduce business costs for all members - in short to improve profitability
