Exclusive VOW facilities supplies training a success

An exclusive event designed to equip VOW partners with the practical hands on training and knowledge they need to grow their facilities supplies offer has proved a big hit.

'Impressed', 'engaging' and 'entertaining' were among the comments from resellers for VOW's first ever Facilities Supplies Training Event, held at the Oaktree Arena in Highbridge, Somerset on 12th September. The event gave VOW partners the chance to take part in practical, face to face training with six industry leading suppliers including Diversey, Gojo, Vax, Wallace Cameron, Newell Rubbermaid and SCA.

Round robin sessions saw delegates split into teams and given 30 minutes of interactive training with each supplier to ensure a depth of knowledge. All participants were given training packs and certificates at the end of the day.

Charles Walker of Rapide System Supplies Ltd: "The event was extremely engaging. It was not only informative but very entertaining. The presenters and suppliers delivered a high level of expertise throughout the day."

Lisa Baxter of Ace Office Environments Ltd: "The event was informative, fun and very hands on. I'm very impressed with the suppliers who were here to offer training."

Ed Weale, Business Development Manager at Gojo; "The event was fantastically organised and the set up and planning meant that we were able to have quality time with the dealers to make them aware of our product."

Emma Nourry, Head of Channel Marketing at VOW: "We are constantly looking at ways to help VOW partners grow their businesses in new categories. This event was created to deliver the highest levels of facilities supplies training and take advantage of the fact that VOW has more than 80 direct partnerships with facilities product suppliers, including strong links with some of the biggest brands. We are delighted with the feedback from the day and are hoping to repeat this event in other regions."
