evo Launches ‘People Positive’ Icon to Support Inclusive Product Choice

evo has unveiled its new People Positive icon, a market-leading initiative designed to help customers easily identify products that support individuals with diverse physical, emotional and intellectual needs.

The new icon will highlight products that can assist people across a range of areas including neurodiversity, mental health, sensory and cognitive needs, mobility and accessibility. Products will be categorised across four key areas: Neurological & Learning, Mental Health, Sensory & Cognitive, and Mobility & Movement.

Developed to promote greater inclusion in the workplace and beyond, the People Positive icon aims to make it easier for organisations to source supportive products while using positive, empowering language that focuses on individuals rather than perceived challenges.

The chosen symbol, a dandelion, represents resilience, hope, healing and adaptability. Known for thriving in difficult environments, the dandelion serves as a powerful metaphor for overcoming adversity and reaching potential. It is also recognised internationally as a symbol of resilience and neurodiversity.

The initiative reflects growing demand for products that support accessibility, wellbeing and inclusive working environments, while helping customers quickly identify relevant solutions across evo’s product offering.

The People Positive icon has also been embraced internally by evo’s People Team, who will incorporate it into colleague communications, recruitment materials and email signatures, further reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to inclusion and belonging.
