Effective Consumable Solution’s Sales Director, Donna Reid, Set to Run Edinburgh Marathon 2026 For Leuchie House

ECS are delighted to share the news that our Sales Director, Donna Reid, will be running the Edinburgh Marathon in 2026 to support Leuchie House, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by neurological conditions.

Leuchie House provides vital support to those living with multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, stroke, and other life-changing neurological challenges. By offering a lifeline through enhanced health and wellbeing programs, the charity enables patients to rebuild confidence and regain independence.

Donna, an accomplished marathon runner, had vowed to retire from marathon running after completing the 2024 London Marathon and the 2025 Manchester Marathon, however, inspired by the mission of Leuchie House, she’s found the determination to once again lace up her running shoes for a fantastic cause.

“I was ready to hang up my running shoes for good,” said Donna, “but the incredible work Leuchie House does for individuals and families facing neurological challenges compelled me to commit to yet another marathon. Running the Edinburgh Marathon in 2026 for such a meaningful cause is an incredible honour.
