Deflecto develop a range of anti microbial desk accessories

To support the battle against COVID-19 Deflecto have taken the steps many businesses have taken to maintain the safety of their staff, suppliers and customers wherever possible, working at home when possible, face masks, social distancing and sanitising materials available throughout the manufacturing sites and offices.

They have developed a range of anti-microbial desk accessories manufactured in their UK facility, these are in addition to their new sustainable home office desk sets manufactured from 80% post-consumer waste.

The anti-microbial desk accessories will be popular in all medical and related industries. As an integral part of the desk accessories the anti-microbial technology creates a permanent barrier against the growth of bacteria, biofilm and moulds. Once the COVID-19 is controlled and buying and working habits will change, Deflecto is well placed to cater for many of the new demands with initiatives such as these.

In their USA and China facilities they are manufacturing retail protection screens used at till points in a variety of different retailers.

Using their global manufacturing capability they are now bringing to the UK half a million face masks and a quarter of a million face shields to support the NHS as they struggle with supplies. The first shipment being air freighted arrives week commencing 6th April with many more due via our conventional transport routes in the coming weeks.
