Calling all BOSS Resellers - can you spare some time to represent your sector?

BOSS has traditionally been very well represented by Manufacturers who have been the main source of funding and support for us.

BOSS has traditionally been very well represented by Manufacturers who have been the main source of funding and support for us.

The manufacturers meet regularly (3-4 times a year) to discuss industry wide changes and issues from a manufacturers perspective. This is in no sense anti-competitive as any manufacturer can join BOSS and the Forum and all can air these views. BOSS, as a neutral organisation, can be the conduit for publicising these views back to the industry more widely and can take up issues on behalf of manufacturers if so required.

Resellers used to have a forum to similarly discuss issues that affect them and to collate their views and opinions and feed those opinions back to the trade or specific channels within it. That forum became inactive a few years ago and the reformation of the Reseller Forum is the opportunity for resellers to have their voice heard within the trade.

Due to the geography concerned we are running two forums - one in the South and one in the North, although if sufficient demand exists there could be further forums as required.
The southern forum has already met once under the chairmanship of Steve Harrop, and meets again tomorrow. The discussion has already been lively! The northern forum is still being actively recruited and will be chaired by Adam Noble.

Please get involved. If you are a reseller or could suggest a reseller you work with who you think would contribute, you'll be helping the reseller community to influence the future shape of the trade. Resellers are an essential part of the whole industry's success in getting the product sold to the end user and their views are vital.

Please get in touch if you, or someone you know, could spare a few hours, 3 times a year. Your industry needs you!
