BOSS Resolutions for the New Year

Happy New Year to you - I trust that you had a great break over the festive season and are fully recharged for the exciting prospect of 2017 ahead.

Given that only 8% of us stick to our New Year resolutions through to a conclusion, I'm treating the ones I have for BOSS as more like indicative statements of intent of a non-legally binding nature. But we can call them resolutions for now.

These are: grow membership, make industry-wide sales data available to our members and not to try changing the well-established date for the BOSS Awards Dinner from the second week of October. It's quite a game trying to fit in with all the other industry events! Oh and to have fun, but I resolve that every year. And it's the one resolution I find easiest to keep. I hope that you will have fun in 2017 too and that your businesses prosper.

So just a few reminders of key dates:
• 24 March 2017 - BOSS Young Managers Conference
• 17 May 2017 - BOSS Members Day and CEO Conference
• 12 October 2017 - BOSS Awards

We will be moving the BOSS London office to St Bride Foundation near St Paul's Cathedral on 17 January and will circulate new address details shortly.
