BOSS North Regional Committee announces new chair and welcomes new members

After years of dedicated service, Richard Smithers of Victor Stationery has stepped down as Chair. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Richard for his commitment and leadership to both the North Committee and BOSS. We’re pleased to confirm that Richard will continue to contribute as a committee member.

Stepping into the role of Chair is Garry Wright, Sales Director at CTS Wholesale. With over two decades of experience in the business supplies industry, Garry brings a wealth of knowledge, a strong network, and a reputation for building lasting partnerships.

Garry comments, “I’m truly honoured to accept the role of Chair for our regional BOSS committee. This is an industry I’m incredibly proud to be part of - one that continues to demonstrate resilience, innovation, and collaboration at every level. I look forward to working with our members and partners to strengthen our region’s voice, support growth and sustainability, and build on the strong foundations laid by those who came before us. It’s a privilege to help chair such a dedicated and inspiring committee and we look forward to seeing you all at the events in 2026.”

We also bid farewell to Keeley Shepherd and Helen Colton, who have stepped down from the committee. We thank them both for their valuable contributions and support over the years.

Joining the committee are two new members who bring fresh perspectives and expertise:

• Sally Williamson from YPO, who has been part of the business supplies industry since 2006. Sally has recently become more involved with BOSS, BBSC, and Leaders of the Future, and credits these networks with reigniting her passion for delivering customer-focused solutions.

• Katie Metcalfe-Roberts, Marketing Director at Office Friendly and now leading strategic marketing for BLOC Group. With over 18 years of experience, Katie is known for her dynamic leadership and forward-thinking approach, helping drive brand growth and collaboration across the group’s stakeholders.
