When and how was the business established?
Innovative Workplace Solutions Northern Ireland was established in 2022 as part of the NBM Group's strategic expansion into the Northern Ireland market.
The business was founded with a clear vision: to provide organisations across Northern Ireland with a modern, customer-focused partner capable of delivering complete workplace solutions under one roof. Building on over four decades of expertise within the NBM Group, the company was created to help businesses navigate the changing demands of the modern workplace through technology, workplace products and managed services.
From the outset, our focus has been on developing long-term partnerships with customers, delivering exceptional service and supporting organisations through digital transformation and workplace evolution.
How has the business developed since its inception?
Since opening our doors in 2022, Innovative Workplace Solutions Northern Ireland has experienced rapid and sustained growth.
The business launched with just two employees and has grown to a team of eight professionals in less than four years, with plans to expand to ten employees by the end of 2026. This growth reflects the increasing demand for integrated workplace solutions and the strength of the relationships we have built with our customers.
A key driver of our success has been the expansion of our Workplace Solutions and Business Supplies division, which has become a significant growth engine for the business. Through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including the acquisition of two workplace supplies businesses in 2023 and 2025, we have broadened our offering and strengthened our position as a complete workplace partner.
Today, we support organisations across a wide range of sectors with everything from IT and managed print to workplace supplies, furniture, collaboration technologies and business services. Our continued growth has been built on exceptional customer service, local expertise and a commitment to helping businesses operate more effectively.
What achievements or specialisms is the company particularly proud of?
One of our proudest achievements has been the pace at which the business has grown since its launch in 2022. Growing from a two-person start-up operation to a thriving team of eight, with further expansion planned, demonstrates both the strength of our proposition and the dedication of our people.
