The forum provides an opportunity for BOSS member companies to meet and represent the issues that they are facing.
The group will work towards:
- Acting as a catalyst to educate the industry in best practices across all environmental issues.
- Identifying issues that need raising through the appropriate Government channels and assisting BOSS in procuring evidence and lobbying on the industry’s behalf.
- Monitoring the Government, scientific and market trends with respect to the manufacture and use of plastic and driving packaging reduction.
- Guiding the industry in setting environmental data standards that simplify the identification and choice of environmentally friendly products by consumers.
- Providing collaboration and communication opportunities to benchmark and compare information and knowledge.
- Recommending and partaking in discussion panels and driving the agenda for the annual BOSS Sustainability Conference.
- Helping to produce positive PR and drive sustainable behaviour in the business supplies industry.
