British brands go on the attack

British brands are looking to take advantage of their increasing competitiveness with many exhibiting at the London Stationery Show.

British brands are looking to take advantage of their increasing competitiveness and the desire of UK retailers and consumers to buy more British products, with many exhibiting at the London Stationery Show in April.

The star-studded list of exhibitors includes Filofax, Pukka Pads, Helix, Charles Letts, j-me, Sinclairs/Silvine, Collins Debden, NPW, Leathersmith of London, K TWO Products, Manuscript Pen, Thinking Gifts, Dodo Pad, Otter House, Daler Rowney, Mustard, Neale Dataday, from you to me, Blake Envelopes, Plusfile, Postsafe, Springback Binders and many others.

"British stationery has never been in better shape with exciting newcomers and invigorated established names competing successfully with leading international brands" says organiser Chris Leonard-Morgan. "The London Stationery Show is where fashion meets function, with nearly 200 different makes of stationery from all over the world - buyers love it."

Henri Davis, stationery buyer for the National Trust, said after last year's exhibition: "A fantastic show - it was exciting and energetic, and provides a real focus for the market".

The Stationery Show takes place at the Business Design Centre in London on Tuesday 1 - Wednesday 2 April, and is part of National Stationery Week.
