All change at BOSS Charity

Martin Wilde is to step down as Chair of the BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) at the end of March.

Martin, who has been a BOSS Charity trustee since 2015, has chaired the Charity through a fundamental transformation, including a new constitution and web site, and the introduction of the hugely successful Patronage Scheme and annual Patrons’ Dinners.

Thanks to this, the Charity has seen exceptional growth of over 40% in income last year, which has enabled it to make record-breaking grants of over £117,000 to industry colleagues in need in 2023.

Current Vice Chair Kelly Hilleard has been elected Chair in April, with Trustee Philip Wesolowski supporting her as Vice Chair.

Martin commented “I’m proud that the Charity has achieved so much over the last few years and particularly want to thank the Trustees for their support and – in particular – Kelly Hilleard, who has helped us to progress so many of the very many changes that we have made. I can only see the Charity going from strength to strength under her leadership.”

The BOSS Business Supplies Charity is a registered charity established in 1925 to provide for those needing financial assistance who have worked – or currently work – for at least two years in the business supplies and services industry.
