Over the last 34 years, I have evolved ‘Knight Street’ to be the UK and Europe’s leading niche recruitment specialist, dedicated exclusively to the ‘Business Supplies sector and its associated industries.
Product coverage includes those companies actively involved in the manufacture or distribution of Office Supplies, Paper, Office Furniture, FM, Business Machines, Workwear, Writing Instruments and Arts & Crafts related products. Typically, this involves working with key Vendors, Distributors, Wholesalers, Buying Groups and selective Dealers throughout the industry.
To this end, I have worked with literally hundreds of companies over the years to advise on a wide range of recruitment /search assignments. My customer base is diverse, ranging from large global organisations to mid market SME’s and family run businesses across the UK and Europe.
Key to success is my industry knowledge and understanding acquired over many years which has given me the ability to understand my customers businesses, engage with their hiring strategies and discuss individual assignments as a true partner. My clients use me a sounding board in their early thinking to shape roles, valuing my knowledge of the market and key players and knowing that they can talk in confidence.
All assignments are researched meticulously and discreetly and candidates are thoroughly screened for their suitability; not only on experience, skills and adjacent skills but also on team and cultural fit.
I offer the same level of professionalism and commitment to my candidates who will be thoroughly briefed on each potential role, the company and the recruitment process and I will always give them feedback at each stage of the process and guide them with career advice. For that reason, many candidates become clients.
