Structure of the Industry

Our industry has grown over the years from covering traditional stationery items to encompassing office furniture, computer supplies and accessories, facilities, workwear and a whole host of products that businesses need.

The route to market is complex as there are many distribution levels involved. The route consists of manufacturers selling to either specialist distributors, general office products or general IT products wholesalers who then sell on to resellers. Manufacturers can sell direct to the resellers where there is a high volume of sales. The resellers consist of retailer's such as supermarkets, retail chains and big box, E-tailers & Marketplaces, Dealers and Contract Stationers. The resellers then sell their products to end users such as private consumers, SME's, large corporates and governments and multi-nationals.

BOSS endeavours to provide companies with the services and business support required to work successfully within the business supplies industry. BOSS' main focus is supplying members with the information and benefits required to save their member's companies valuable time and money.
