Nemo & Office Club launch new environmentally conscious paper

Nemo and Office Club have this week officially launched a new product to the Style Brand range with the arrival of an environmentally friendly A4 copier paper in partnership with the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.

Nemo and Office Club have this week officially launched a new product to the Style Brand range with the arrival of an environmentally friendly A4 copier paper in partnership with the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.

Established by author and conservationist Gerald Durrell, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust has had the same four-word mission statement, ‘Saving Species from Extinction', since it was founded in 1959 and this remains at the heart of what the charity does today. For every ream of the new ‘ Our Earth' paper sold a charitable donation is made to help the charity to continue with its work that has included saving 14 species from extinction, the release of thousands of animals into the wild and the protection of 435,445 hectares of habitat amongst its many achievements.

Beth Gallichan, Fundraising Manager from Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust commented that, "we are delighted to build this partnership with Nemo and Office Club dealers to raise awareness of the important work we are doing to create a wilder, healthier and more colourful world. In choosing to put our name to the paper brand it was important that the production process of the product met the very highest of environmental standards, and this is very much the case with ‘Our Earth' paper."

Tim Beaumont, Managing Director of Nemo and Office Club, added: "We are very excited about the partnership with Durrell and the awareness that can be raised through the exclusive sale of the paper brand from our dealers who are supported with a full marketing programme to help them to spread the word and sell the paper based on its support of the charity and environmental credentials rather than feel the need to sell paper purely on price - Providing them with new margin opportunities on a traditionally low margin product."

The international charity recently launched its ‘Rewild our World' strategy that sets out four headline
goals to achieve by 2025, when its founder, Gerald Durrell, would have celebrated his 100th birthday.

In 2025 Durrell wants to see:
• 10 ecosystems across the world's major biomes rewilded
• 100 threatened species on the road to recovery
• 500 endangered species projects working more effectively
• 1,000,000 people better connected with nature

The partnership with Nemo and Office Club will see members and their customers play their part in achieving this goal, whilst delivering a high-quality product for use in the home and the workplace.
