BOSS’s Liz Whyte announced as new Honorary Secretary for The Society of Old Friends

BOSS are delighted to announce that Liz Whyte has been appointed Honorary Secretary of The Society of Old Friends.

The society was formed in 1909 under the leadership of Jack Barwick and his colleague Frank House and organize well attended informal meetings known as Clachans and society dinners a number of times a year.

John Logan replaces Steve Robinson as the new President and Steve Hilleard has been appointed Honorary Treasurer.

Liz Whyte comments "I am honoured to have been invited to become the Honorary Secretary of The Society of Old Friends.  I trust I will be able to carry on the great work previously undertaken by Tina Russell and Stanley Vaughan before her.  I look forward to working with the committee and all old Friends".
