The BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) has announced the appointment of two new Trustees to its team.

Leanne Gregg, Group People Director, EVO Group, is adding her HR expertise to the Charity's board. Martin Wilde, Chair of BBSC, commented "For many years, now, we have been trying to establish contacts with HR departments within industry businesses and ideally offer them options and materials to ensure that all of their staff are always made aware of the Charity and how it helps those in our industry who are in financial need. Leanne's experience and enthusiasm makes her ideally qualified to help us achieve that."

Leanne commented: "I am delighted to have been accepted onto the board of Trustees of this remarkable Charity. I'm excited to promote the Charity's holistic support of people across the entire industry. It is also my intention to galvanise fundraising activities through wellbeing initiatives."

Philip Wesolowski, Managing Director, Staedtler (UK) Ltd, has also been appointed as a Trustee. As Martin noted, "Philip has worked closely with us as our 'Golf Day Advisor' or a few years now, and his enthusiasm and commitment have been vital to the success of this annual fundraising event."

Philip commented "I am delighted to become a Trustee of the BBSC. Since joining the industry more than 15 years ago, I have felt a strong connection with its Charity - feeling very much that it is our industry Charity for our industry. I first became directly involved in the organisation of the Charity Day in 2018 and I am proud that, as a team, we have really made this day into a great event, as well as being a significant fundraiser for the Charity. It is my pleasure to start giving back as a member of the Trustee board, and I am looking forward to many years of continuing to support the fundraising activities of the Charity as well as working throughout our industry to ensure that the BBSC is both supported and utilised."

The BOSS Business Supplies Charity is a registered charity, established to provide for those needing financial assistance who have worked - or currently work - for at least two years in the stationery or office supplies and services industry. In 2021 it helped over 30 colleagues in need by supplying one-off and quarterly support payments of over £74,000, as well as COVID support payments and BOSS Future Fund Grants for those needing financial help to progress their careers. Around 40% of the money that the Charity gives away each year comes directly from fundraising activities.
