What is Environmental Product Information?

There are two types of environmental product information (EPI) that are provided to customers:

'self-declared' environmental claims and eco-labelling schemes which are awarded to products reaching a specified level of performance.

Eco-labelling schemes are administered by a variety of bodies such as the public sector, private sector and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and offer valuable third-party branded endorsement.
